Schedule of Collection

Please place all items out the night before the collection day. Collection begins at 6AM.

Holiday Schedule 

If there is a holiday that lands on a Saturday or Sunday, all collections will remain as a normal collection schedule. No changes in service. Expect curbside collection on your scheduled collection day. 

Follow these simple guidelines when preparing your material for collection:

• Trash and recycling should be placed curbside the night before your scheduled collection. Drivers do not return to residences if materials are unprepared at the scheduled collection time.
• Please contact us at least 24 hours before your regularly scheduled collection to request a large item pick-up and/or excessive amounts of trash. Any mattress or upholstered furniture should be completely sealed in disposable plastic for removal.
• Freon containing appliances require special handling procedures prior to pick-up.
• According to Federal law, J.P. Mascaro & Sons is not permitted to accept batteries, tires, liquids, combustible materials or any items identified as hazardous.
• Bulky materials including drywall, concrete, bricks, dirt or rocks are not acceptable.
• Drums, barrels, yard and household containers are not acceptable trash containers and will be assumed trash if placed at the curb.

BULK COLLECTION:

Bulk pickup is the first Friday of every month unless it's a holiday. 

Bulk pick up includes one bulk item per week free of charge. 

No glass items over 4 feet in length will be taken.

Accepted Bulk Items: 

Household furnishings, bicycles, stoves, microwaves, washers, etc. If you dispose of old carpet/rugs, please cut them up into 3' or 4' sections and tie with twine for easy handling. All glass items must be properly taped prior to disposal. (To prevent safety hazards and unnecessary cleanup).  

 Appliances containing Freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners, require advanced notification before removal. Refrigerators, air conditioners, and other cooling units must have freon removed and be tagged by a professional freon removal service.

A maximum of four carpet rolls, each no longer than four feet in length, will be collected. Cans, boxes, or bags full of smaller trash items are not collected as bulk trash. Building materials, railroad ties, and automotive parts will not be collected.

Prohibited Bulk Item Examples: 

Construction debris, covered electronics (computers, TV’s, etc.), hazardous waste (including but not limited to; chemicals, liquid paints, tires), metal appliances. 

 Bag or bundle your yard debris. We accept five items at each pick-up. Grass clippings and leaves are required to be placed in bags that are less than 20 lbs. each. 

Twigs and branches can be bundled less than 3 feet.
